I've photographed weddings across Maine over the past 11 years, and here's what I know for sure: the best wedding photos happen when you feel completely yourself. When you can let your hair down, steal sweet kisses in corners, ugly-cry during vows, and dance like nobody's watching (even though I'm definitely watching and capturing it all).
I'm not just your photographer, I'm your calm in the storm, the person dancing in the middle of the floor with you, and yes, sometimes the buffer between you and well-meaning relatives who have "helpful" suggestions.

How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 12–18 months in advance, especially for popular summer and fall dates. If you already have your venue secured, I recommend reaching out as soon as possible to ensure availability.
Do you require a retainer to reserve our date?
Yes. A signed contract and retainer are required to officially reserve your wedding date. Because I accept a limited number of weddings each year, dates cannot be held without both.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely. Wedding photography is an investment, and flexible payment options are available to help make the process manageable.
Do you travel?
Yes! I photograph weddings throughout Maine and am available for destination weddings as well. Travel fees may apply depending on the location.
Do you photograph elopements and small weddings?
Absolutely. Whether you're exchanging vows on a mountaintop, at the courthouse, or surrounded by a small group of loved ones, I would be honored to document your story.
Do we receive the digital images?
Yes. All collections include a high-resolution online gallery where you can download, share, and print your images.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
You'll receive sneak peeks within 48 hours of your wedding day. Your full gallery delivery timeline will be outlined in your contract and discussed during the planning process.
Can we add additional coverage?
Yes. Additional coverage, extra events, albums, wall art, and other enhancements can be added to customize your wedding photography experience.
Do you help with timeline planning?
Absolutely. One of my favorite ways to serve my couples is by helping create a photography timeline that allows the day to flow smoothly while ensuring we capture everything that's important to you.
What happens if it rains?
Don't worry! Maine weather can be unpredictable, and I always come prepared with backup plans and creative solutions. Some of my favorite wedding photographs have happened during less-than-perfect weather.
What if we're awkward in photos?
You're in good company. Most couples tell me this! Here's the thing: I'm not going to have you stand stiffly and say "cheese." I'll guide you through natural prompts and movements that create genuine connection. You'll be laughing, snuggling, walking, dancing, and I'll be capturing it all. You won't feel awkward because you won't be posing awkwardly.
What's your photography style?
Timeless romantic with an authentic feel. I love true-to-color editing, but I'm also drawn to moody, rich tones. I shoot a blend of documentary candids and beautifully composed portraits. You'll get the tears, the laughter, the dancing, the stolen moments and the gorgeous sunset portraits without feeling like every moment is staged.
Will we get all the photos from our wedding?
You'll receive a curated gallery of the best images from your day; beautifully edited and ready to print, share, and treasure. I personally edit every single image to ensure you're getting my very best work.
What happens if you're sick or can't make it?
I've never missed a wedding. But I always have a network of trusted professional photographers on standby as backup, just in case the unthinkable happens. You're covered.
What Happens After You Book
- Contract + Retainer — We'll make it official with a signed contract and $1,000 retainer to secure your date
- Engagement Session — We'll schedule your engagement session to get comfortable in front of the camera together
- Timeline Planning — About 2–3 months before your wedding, we'll build out your photography timeline so everything flows perfectly
- Final Details Call — A few weeks before your wedding, we'll go over shot lists, family groupings, and any last-minute details
- Your Wedding Day — I'll be there early, calm, and ready to capture every beautiful moment
- Sneak Peeks — Within 48 hours, you'll have a handful of gorgeous images to share
- Full Gallery Delivery — Your complete gallery arrives in 6–10 weeks (depending on season)
